Amazing Shangi la, the fort!!!
Best hotel experience of my life. We had a suite, and were treated like royalties. Even hotel arts in Barcelona looks like a child compared to this experience.

Global City has been well developed and is beautiful. Looking forward to the next visit. The Shangri La is located in a great place for shopping and eating.

Excellent hotel however it’s expensive ; the staffs cater to all your need. The raging bull restaurant has wonderful steak and highly recommended.

I chose to stay at Shangri-La for a 5 star vaccination weekend experience. I didn’t have a 5 star experience. There was an issue with the AC unit in our room. We tried to have the hotel address this for 2 days. The management was unprofessional, in addressing this issues and after we had to move rooms at 2am the second night, compensation was still not offered. This was after engineers examined the unit and stated there was a problem. I planed to bring medical conferences to this location but with this unprofessional service I would be embarrassed to do so.

Overall, the exceptional service and hospitality always makes it a pleasure to visit.The bed is very comfortable and the room is spottlessly clean. There's also plenty of dining options, and the spa treatment was relaxing. However, the service was a bit underwhelming at the Horizon Lounge and could improve.

Stayed in Shang BGC for the remaining days of our 3week vacation in Manila after 11yrs. I thought it would be nice stay in a trusted Shang property so we leave Manila on a positive note. Did not happen. Terrible staff especially the welcoming ambassadors who greet you upon entering the hotel. A particular staff welcomed us by asking "did you get a suite or JUST a deluxe?". You do not use "just" or any point of comparison between your accommodations. I shared the feedback to the Manager, hours after I saw the same staff at the lobby. I greeted her wi to a big jolly smile on my face which returned by rolling her eyes, frowning, and snob attitude. This annoyed me expecting that as someone who works in hospitality, you do not/never engage with your "paying clients" with crass and antagonizing attitude. Regardless if your were the subject of a complaint! On our last day, I booked an airport transfer and preferred a luxury suv. I asked for a bmw suv and there was a back and forth over series 7 and x7. I know for a fact that series 7 is a sedan but they were saying that its an suv. I googled a picture, thinking there might be a little disconnect to how they call bmw models. I showed a picture of a bmw x7 suv, showed it to all their transport staff and everybody confirmed it was the same vehicle they have. Came the time we need drive to the airport, a bmw series 7 sedan was waiting for us. This is super annoying, disappoint, and downright unacceptable.

The staff was very friendly and attentive to guest needs. I really enjoyed the spa (indulge in the massage and scrub!) And the pool area was wonderful. I'll definitley stay again when I'm in Manila!

Probably the best city hotel I’ve stayed in, they’ve got it right in practically every single area. The general hotel fit out and rooms are of very high standard, f&b options are top tier and the gym is exceptional. Local area is buzzing with vibrant bars and restaurants. This hotel will always be my home when I visit Manila!

Have stayed here a number of times and it’s always a pleasure to return. The hotel is in a great location and has a beautiful pool and gym. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. It’s getting close to time for a bathroom update but apart from that this hotel is tops in Manila.

Surrounding of the hotel is good because it is located in BGC. Hotel is clean but not the lobby's not big enough. Overall it is an overpriced hotel. You can live in other hotel with the same hotel standard without having to pay that much. We wouldn't get a grab back to Manila that night and avail of their hotel car for 5000 pesos
