«What a perfect little getaway for my husband and myself in the heart of Amish country. Our hosts were very kind and accommodating, with breakfast and dinner available. I particularly enjoyed the fact that there are no TVs at this location, and we spent more time wandering the area and talking to eachother. «I suppose I should lead with this is a pretty dated motel, but it's VERY clean. Like, not just OK-clean; it's evident that people are working extremely hard to keep this property as clean and upkept as possible, which isn't easy when a property is older. The care is evident. The hosts were very nice. We had a small problem after we checked in (that turned out to be nothing), and the host was at our door within a minute to check it. «This is actually a refurbished hotel and I did not feel safe staying as it was basically empty except for 2 other vehicles. We ended up booking another place as this has no one on site only a note saying "call or text" if you have any issues. Not the way to do business as a VRBO.»

«The motel manager was rude and acted like we were inconveniencing him when we arrived at 10:40 pm at night. All he had to do was provide a working key to our room, but it took three attempts before the door would open. The next morning, he threatened that "karma" would get me.
