We have a washing machine and a clothes airer which are convenient for those on longer trips. For families with smaller children, a travel cot with sheets is available on request. Well-behaved pets are welcome too.



PROVIDED FOR YOUR STAY:

For convenience we'll provide fresh linen and towels for each guest, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, shampoo and soaps, tea and coffee. Travel cot available on request for a small additional fee of £15, just let us know before your stay.



BUILDING:

The flat is set over two floors of a handsome Victorian house, up 6 steps from the street (there is no lift). The bedrooms, landing and Bathroom 1 are on the entrance floor, with the living room, kitchen and garden access downstairs.

The Neighborhood:

West Didsbury is one of south Manchester's most popular neighbourhoods: leafy streets of Victorian houses with a buzzing local food and drink scene. Burton Road, just around the corner, is packed with independent restaurants, cocktail bars, coffee shops and delis, and Lapwing Lane adds even more. Didsbury Village, with its shops, pubs and Sunday market, is a short walk away, and Fletcher Moss Gardens and the Mersey riverside walks are close by for fresh air. Two of West Didsbury's best-loved pubs are on the doorstep: The Metropolitan on Lapwing Lane and The Woodstock on Barlow Moor Road, both with big beer gardens and good food. For a smarter dinner or brunch, Albert's Didsbury is a short walk away on Barlow Moor Road.



Getting Around:

West Didsbury Metrolink stop is around a 5 minute walk away, with trams to Manchester city centre in around 20 minutes and connections to Etihad Campus, MediaCityUK and Manchester Airport. Burton Road and Lapwing Lane are a few minutes on foot, and Didsbury Village is around a 15 minute walk.



Manchester Airport is around 15 minutes by car and the Christie Hospital is around a 5 minute drive.



Parking: Free on-street parking is available outside and on the surrounding roads. Please check local signage for any restrictions.



Uber operates throughout the city.
