"Everything is great, apart from the restaurant (Social Bar&Restaurant). It´s a really nice hotel located close to the City Central Station. Staff is lovely, the room was clean and nice with a good bed. Not to mention the spa at 8th with sauna and a big hot pool on a winter night viewing the skyline of Stockholm as it snows and the fog from the hot water swaying in the air. Magic. I had a great stay and will recommend it warmly. The breakfast, ohh my G, it´s one one of the best I´ve had.
It´s just too bad that the staff running the Social Bar&Restaurant in the evening are on the lower tier. Waiters ignoring you, totally uninterested in giving advice about the menu and in a general speaking awful mood. The food brought to my table (veal schnitzel with fries) was not crisp, it was soft and tasteless covered in lard. The fries were soft too and really ugly. I get better food at Burger King than this overpriced posh scraps from the kitchen. After I finished, the staff once again ignored my table and didn´t bother to clear it, even though I put the plate at the end of the table so they might discover it. I even had to walk over to the counter and ask to pay. What a grease meal.
So if you skip the restaurant at night and go for out to eat elsewhere, you are going to be fine and will have a lovely stay. The idiots running the restaurant are a threat to the hotels reputation and should be doing something else. than working in the restaurant business."
