«Room was clean when we arrived but a lot of bull ants in there, we had to spray insect repellent everyday to keep them out. Manager kept asking about payment for 2 rooms that were booked December 25 and fully paid for, there were 4 of us and I had booked rooms above the pool, we were the only people there but we were given different rooms because the staff had the pool view room. Yala Safari Camping

10/10 Utmerket

"We had an absolutely amazing experience with Yala Safari Camping! We originally booked a full-day safari but ended up adding an afternoon safari on arrival day. Both were fantastic, and we were lucky enough to see leopards on both days! We saw so much wildlife and truly experienced the beauty of Yala National Park. A special thank you to our incredible driver, Ajith. He was extremely knowledgeable and skilled, with an amazing eye for spotting wildlife. He answered all our questions and made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout both safaris. The food was another highlight — honestly, the best food we ate during our entire three-week trip in Sri Lanka! Everything was fresh, delicious and beautifully prepared. A big thank you to our chef, Promod! The camp itself was beautiful, peaceful and charming. Our tent was near a waterhole, so we even got to see wildlife in the mornings. Overall, Yala Safari Camping gave us an unforgettable combination of wildlife, nature, incredible food and genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. Thank you to Ravi and the entire team for an amazing stay and unforgettable memories. We highly recommend you and would absolutely choose you again!"
