Hotellet hadde for harde senger til at natten ble behagelig, og det var litt dårlig med lys på rommet. Renhold var bra, frokosten var grei, hyggelig personalet.

Deilig basseng og hyggelig betjening. Kjedelig frokost og en del støy fra hovedveien. Hotellrommet fremsto utdatert og moden for en oppussing. Underholdningen om kvelden varierte fra bra til pinlig dårlig! Velger ikke dette hotellet igjen.

Hotel som fortjener et besøk.
Hotellet ligger perfekt i Funchal. Det tar ca 15 min å gå før en er i sentrum av byen. Det går bybusser rett forbi hotellet. Det samme med busser for 2 selskaper som driver sightseeing i Funchal med nærområde. Hotellets frokost er bra. Ferske brødvarer og godt utvalg. Vi prøvde bufe-middag en kveld, og det fristet ikke til gjentagelse. Men, det finnes så mange gode restauranter i området slik at det er ikke vanskelig å spise godt. Servicen i resepsjonen er meget bra. De ordnet turer, bestilte restauranter osv. Eksepsjonell god service. Hotellet anbefales på det varmeste.

Fint hotell, men mye trafikkstøy.
Bestilte et halvt år i forveien men fikk allikevel et rom hvor trafikkstøy var dominerende. Det var synd fordi det ellers hadde vært et bra opphold.

Fin beliggenhet i nærheten av sentrum. Hyggelig betjening og god service. Rent og pent hotell. Gode senger. God plass til leiebil i garasje under hotellet. Et hotell vi kan anbefale. Vi bytta til havsutsikt og angra ikke på det!

Hotel med god atmosfære,sentralt beliggenhet.
Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold i 14dager. i nyttårshelgen var hotellet helt fullt og ganske hektisk i matsalen og baren. Etter 3 dager fikk vi rom i 6etg. med full havsutsikt. Det var veldig bra. Alt på hotellet fungerte godt. Spesielt vil vi fremheve det oppvarmede bassenget med jacucci og betjeningen på hotellet.

Sentralt flott hotell
Et hotell vi gjerne reiser tilbake til. Det lå perfekt til med gåavstand østover til gamlebyen, og vestover til hotellområde med mange gode restauranter. Meget god frokost som var i romprisen.

Vi var veldig fornøyd med oppholdet. Hotellet hadde perfekt beliggenhet. Rommer var stort med fin balkong, og de ansatte var veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Vi har allerede anbefalt dette hotellet videre til andre.

Dear guest,First, we would like to thank you for taking the time to let us know that you were unhappy with our services. It's always discouraging when our expectations don't live up to our expectations. However, as we explained to you on the spot, even though our restaurant has all the information regarding the ban on taking food out of the restaurant, we informed you that we had two different types of picnics available for this purpose, against payment, giving you the choice of which one you wanted to take. Unfortunately, you refused this solution.As part of our amenities, there is no free takeaway from our restaurant. This measure is only granted free of charge in all-inclusive hotels, which is not our case. Our team has been working with us for many years and we have full confidence in them. We're sorry you felt that way about the situation above, but they're just following our internal rules.We sincerely hope that having overcome this situation, you have been able to enjoy your vacation and that in the very near future, when you come to our hotel, we will be able to prove to you our true essence.

Hotel was very nice. We had a great corner room with large opening windows so felt as though we were outside. Had view of mountains and of the ocean. It was also very large by any standard. It is not ocean front, but that is not so important as there is no beach in Funchal and our room had an ocean view. Only slightly negative observation was lack of things one usually sees in hotels e.g. no water bottles, no lotion..But that slight defect was overwhelmed by the quality of the room.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal im Hotel Magnolia und wieder sehr zufrieden. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit, das riesige Frühstücksbuffet hält für jeden etwas parat. Und natürlich haben wir auch den halboffenen beheizten Pool täglich genossen. Direkt vor dem Hotel gibt es eine viel angefahrene Bushaltestelle, zum Einkaufszentrum Forum Madeira und in die Altstadt ist es je eine knappe halbe Stunde zu Fuss. Direkt neben dem Hotel liegt der Park der Quinta Magnolia. Ein kleiner aber schöner Stadtpark mit Tennisplätzen, einem Kaffee und einem sehr gepflegten Kinderspielplatz

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Only faults were the beds were hard (got a topper fitted) and the dining room is very congested at times. Overall a great stay at lovely hotel.

Skulle inte säga att det är ett 4-⭐️ hotell, mer som ett 3-⭐️, väldigt hårda sängar. Frukosten var ganska bra! Men bra läge, några minuters promenad till citykärnan och Lido åt andra hållet. Smidigt att direkt komma ut på motorvägen om man hyr bil. Dock väldigt mycket oväsen från vägen utanför så svårt att sova om man har öppet fönster

Everything about this hotel screamed comfort, a very enjoyable stay which was great value.the indoor pool was a particular highlight, along with the sauna. Breakfast buffet was vast.

The hotel had a delightful breakfast, room, pool, spa, location. We were able to walk into town along a single flat road, There is also free parking directly outside the hotel. Slightly hard bed, but this can be forgiven.

Enotel Magnolia in Funchal does it right!
Great hotel with very friendly staff. I made request ahead of time and they were able to accommodate me. Thanks. Also I got early check in as the room was ready. Beautiful grounds with outdoor pool large patio and big heated pool/hot tub. Top floor terrace with 360 views of the surrounding area. Really one does not want to leave. One issue is the noise from the street level especially if there is a loud motorcycle passing. Overall minor issue. I would also appreciate maybe coffee tea making machine in the lobby as there is no kettle in the room. I like to drink hot water and going to the bar each time is not convenient. The room has a safe mini fridge that actually works and personalized message on tv upon your arrival. I thought it was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend that hotel. Also worth mentioning the airport bus stop is just on the other side of the street. 5 euros per person will take you to the airport. Easy and convenient. Bus stop #12 of the aeroport transport line.
