«We spent a wonderful weekend with our family at this home. We arrived early and Austen was very accommodating and we were able to check in much earlier (he was also super nice when we were late checking out whoops!). The house is very cozy and family friendly. Beds were soft. The kitchen had everything you would need although no oven (not a big deal). «If I could give more than five stars I would. House is stocked with everything you need and then some. So peaceful and we love hearing the sound of the stream. The dogs loved the backyard and fire pit is amazing.»

«Several things were not what was expected. Most notably was ants all over the kitchen counters and sink. And very damp towels folded in the bathroom. The towels had clearly not been dried enough and were presented as if useable for morning showers. But we came to find them wet and smelly. We didn’t have time to dry them so we had to use what we could. Finally the beds were in terrible condition that sank into the middle of the- it was a very unpleasant night sleep.»

«Had a great visit here last week for a JMU graduation. Location was a quick 20 minute ride from the house and very convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc., in Harrisonburg. We did try the Ye Olde Coffee House just a quick 6 minutes from the house for wonderful coffee and homemade breakfast bars! Overall the house was clean, well equipped, and we enjoyed the peaceful patio setting during some afternoon downtime. »

«House was clean except for the two dirty hand towels lying on the bed when we arrived. Washer and dryer were behind a locked door so I had to message the host to get a code to open it. She first insisted it wouldn’t be inside a locked door, so I had to wait for her to find out about it and she replied quickly enough with the access code. I’m guessing nobody ever needed to use the washer before us? Strange. Rooms could have used dressers or something to put clothes in. Vanities in master ...

«Overall a very nice clean and convenient location for visiting Charlottesville, VA. FYI the turn into the driveway, when headed east is a steep turn, which can be tricky at night the first time. One thing that would be nice is a compact washer & dryer unit; that said this is an excellent location in a beautiful setting.»
