«So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant). «I don’t usually review but really liked this place. Lovely country pub with excellent clean, newly fitted rooms that are quirky due to being an old pub. Don’t expect large spacious rooms. Old pubs in Uk are small. Great staff. Good food and the walking trails are behind the pub. Lots to see and do in the area if you’re not into walking. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the staff especially the bar lady. Very friendly. »

The room was quite basic but clean and comfortable and more than acceptable for the price of the accomodation.
