«Lovely big family room which was clean and had plenty of amenities. Our beds were comfortable and we all slept really well. The host, John was very friendly and helpful. We had the cooked breakfast the next morning, which was cooked to order and great value for money. We would definitely consider a return visit in the future. The only small thing that would have made it better is if there had been a shower instead of/in addition to a bath (which had a hand-held shower). It was however a lovely ...

«We found the Belmont House Hotel easily, and the staff were very welcoming when we arrived. The hotel itself is lovely, with tasteful décor, and our room was comfortable.
Unfortunately, our stay was quite affected by the noise that evening. The bar was closed for a private event, and there was loud music and quite a bit of rowdiness both outside and around the main lobby area. As a result, it was very difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

«We arrived to our room to find a half eaten packet of biscuits and an opened and used shower gel . When we tried to log onto the WiFi following the room information sheet it didn’t work and we were told it was all lower case not upper case as the sheet stated . We had a huge cobweb in our bathroom running from the door to the shower and everywhere looked as though it needed a coat of paint . The thermostat on the radiator in the bathroom
