«This hotel is absolutely 5 star the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are soo beautiful and comfortable such attention to detail. As a vegetarian I had the vegetarian breakfast it was soo tasty I had it two days in a row I can honestly say I have never had such a good breakfast at a hotel before. Again the same goes for the evening meals. I recommend this hotel 100%. Location is perfect for discovering Ludlow and surrounding villages.»

«I don't normally write reviews, but this place was so good, I just wanted to say so. The room was spacious and very good. The staff were friendly and helpful We ate in the pub, a typical pub menu, but the food was fresh, home-cooked and excellent. Really good value for money. If you want to be in this area, then this is the place to stay.»

«Valgt stedet for å være "langt borte" og det var det og stedet leverte. Frokosten var absolutt i topp-klasse for en eks-britt som lever nå i Norge. Stedet var også valgt for utvalg av engesk øl, og stedet leverte der også. Eneste minus var romplassering. Vi fikk et rom som delte vegg med toalettene hvor det høres ut som om håndtørke er montert, dermed var det lyd derfra inntil puben stengt. OK det. Verre var hvor lytt det var mellom rommet vårt og naborommet forårsaket av en tynn dør i mellom ...

«The staff were really good with an exceptional personal touch. They knew me by name, not room number. My husband was unwell on the first night and I had dinner on my own, the next day they put themselves out to ask after my husband and that ment a lot. Lovely hotel seeped in history and the choice of decore certainly doesn’t let the property down. The museums were closed due to refurnisment so gives us a very good reason to return. Lovely»

«Great little find here! Lovely pub with great atmosphere, food fab with onsite restaurant. The room was really well presented and lovely decor. My room was facing south and west on the hottest day of the year, thankfully the staff provided a fan and there was a well stocked fridge in the room too. Breakfast was continental style in the room in a lovely hamper, plus yogurts, milk and orange juice in the fridge. Would go back again when in the area. Thanks team.»

«We stayed at The Green Man after a half day canoeing on the Wye at Symonds Yat. Great location. Check in was really easy and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was great , bed was comfy and had an iron, tea/coffee making facilities with a good range of tea/hot chocolate. Parking is aplenty and we had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent - all four of us cleaned our plates and were really happy with what we ordered. We didn’t have breakfast but can imagine it ...
