Super sentralt, men kunne gjerne vært modenisert.
Hotellet er ekstremt sentralt i Luzern. Innsjekking på et hotell litt lengre borti gaten. Underlig rom med gammelt boblebad (ikke på badet). Kort vei til en nydelig by.

Great place!
Great place in the middle of Lucerne! Service was really good and professional. We had an appartment with kitchen, so we did not try the breakfast. Everything was clean and nice!

Great location! Central by the river and shops. 5 minutes walk to the train station. Very clean, spacious, and loved the themed rooms. We got the Asian themed room with the piazza’s view, and the clock was facing our window which was a cool view!! Really enjoyed our stay there and would only stay there for next visits.

They parked out car for free. The place is in OLD TOWN Square so cool lots of shopping and eating. Next to the river. Our roof had not View and on the 4 th floor lots of stairs the Lift was super small no way was I getting in it hahaha

If you want a noisy hotel, with lights and outlets that don’t work, this one is for you. You can hear every door shut, every foot step and every person talking because of the poor design of the building. Everything echos and the doors and walls are so thin that it sounds like there’s a circus outside of your room. It is a convenient location, however the noises outside the hotel are loud until late hours of the night and early mornings with restaurants getting ready for the day. The only lights that were functioning were the bathroom and one table lamp. The other lamp did not work and none of the outlets worked except the one in the bathroom. We had to charge all of our electronics in the bathroom…I would NOT recommend this hotel AT ALL. Me and my boyfriend got terrible sleep both nights we stayed here. I thought the bad reviews might be a bit dramatic when I was booking but I was wrong. Please find a better hotel that’s in a similar location if convenience is important to you.

The room was very clean! You couldn’t get a better location. Right on the river and close to shopping and restaurants. We were blown away with how walkable it is. My biggest issue was the parking. It was honestly embarrassing and horrible as you have to drive your car through a pedestrian only walkway down multiple streets. We got stopped multiple times by people telling us we can’t drive here. There was a market going on that day too. I called the hotel and they assured me this was completely fine and what everyone does. It was so embarrassing and also rude to drive through a a pedestrian walkway. Would not recommend if you are driving

It is allowed for hotel guest to drive to the front off the hotel through the walking area and it is the only way to get to the hotel with a car. The Magic Hotel was perfect for us. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had to check into the hotel at another hotel around the corner, a slight inconvenience in the cold but nothing to ruin that interfered with our wonderful stay. There were many restaurants, shopping, and history to explore. The area is very safe to walk. Highly recommend.

The Altstadt Hotel is locate right in the heart of the Old Town. The room was uniquely decorated, simple, attractive and functional. Great location... if you don't mind the sounds of the old city - the bell tower clock right outside the window that rings every 15 minutes and then longer on the hour, and the hustle and bustle of delivery trucks in the early morning hours. Over all, it suit our purposes well.

We enjoyed a great 3 nights. This hotel is in a wonderful location. Easy walk from the train/bus station. Shops, restaurants, view of the Chapel bridge right there. Our room was very basic but exactly what we booked. WiFi worked well. No English TV channels on the TV. There was a Nespresso like coffee machine provided and a fridge. Check in is around the corner but very easy to find.

We stayed in the Angel Room. It was amazing! I counted 12 angels in the room. The bathtub had a low sealing, making a shower difficult. Otherwise, a very comfortable room.

Die Lage ist Top, nicht ideal, wenn man mit dem Auto kommt, da man nicht zum Hotel fahren kann, da muss man auf ein nahegelegenes Parking zugreifen, was nicht gerade günstig ist. Das Zimmer (Lotus) war sehr sauber und die Einrichtung zweckmässig und bequem. Das Zimmer war für unseren Geschmack über beheizt und man kann die Temperatur nicht selber regulieren. Da wir immer mit geöffneten Fenstern schlafen, war diese eine Nacht eher eine Tortur anstatt Erholung (trotz des sehr bequemen Bettes). Auf den schönen Altstadt Dächern gleich nebenan hat es Windfahnen aus Blech, welche die ganze Nacht gequietscht haben, zusätzlich läutet die historische Kirche gleich gegenüber im Viertelstundetakt und zusätzlich zur vollen Stunde. Die Glocken dazu sind eher hohe Frequenz! Also konnten wir die Nacht durchzählen. Leider hatten wir unsere Oropax zuhause vergessen, dringend zu empfehlen! Zu unserem Pech wurde dann noch in früher Stund der Abfall und Altglas der umliegenden Restaurants und Hotels abgeholt, was auf dem kleinen und schönen Altstadt Platz umgeben von Gebäuden natürlich ziemlich laut hallte, auch der Koofsteinpflaster Boden, auf dem die Zu- und Ablieferer mit ihren Rollis ihre Kunden bedienten, liess ein weiterer Lärm erschallen. Wir übernachteten von Mittwoch auf Donnerstag. Preis/Leistung stimmt für die Lage absolut und wir empfehlen es auch durchaus weiter. Wer lärmempfindlich ist, sollte es sich jedoch überdenken oder gut darauf vorbereiten.

Es tut uns leid wenn Ihnen die Information bei der Anreise nicht mitgeteilt wurden und die Parkmöglichkeiten nicht erklärt wurden. Gerne werden wir das mit unserem Team besprechen und uns verbessern. This location was just amazing! I would recommend this location for the fact it was extremely clean-spotless! The bedding, towels and amenities were above as described on the website. For so many more reasons that won’t allow here, I would recommend this to all my friends, Family and fellow Travelers! The Receptionist/Concierge(s), could not have been nicer or any more accommodating to/for us. Always responded quickly & kindly and made us feel we had known them our entire lives. It is centrally located to most all iconic landmarks & sights. The neighborhood was well lit, easily accessible and we felt very secure & safe. Thank you once again for an amazing experience! Excellent location and fun themed room
This was a good value and fun stay right in the centre of the old town. The location couldn’t be rivalled although was also a drawback. The Pirate room was on the fourth floor and the windows opened directly onto the square below. We slept very little due to the room being hot and noisy. A bit of a shame as otherwise it was a great find in an expensive city.
