Whether you're visiting to cheer on the Red Raiders or to see the sights of the city, Retro Roost has something for everyone.

The Space:
Welcome to our 1950's home, Retro Roost. Right in the heart of Tech Terrace, you will be close to everything Lubbock has to offer.

In the living room, you will find a large couch, loveseat, and accent chair provide a comfortable place to relax and watch TV or socialize. You are also welcome to access any of the streaming channels on this TV with your own accounts. Just don't forget to log out before you depart!

The master bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed and plenty of storage space for your belongings. The second the third bedrooms also have queen beds. All rooms have fresh bedding, pillows, and lots of windows. For those that sleep on the cool side, there are also blankets at the end of the beds. There is an attached bath in the master and second bedroom.

There are two full bathrooms and one half bath in this home, making getting ready in the morning a breeze. Both full bathrooms feature a convenient tub or walk-in shower, offering flexibility for everyone's preferences. There is plenty of shampoo and body wash for our guests to use. There are also plenty of towels, hand towels, and wash cloths for your stay.

The kitchen is stocked with everything you should need to prepare a meal or enjoy take-out from one of Lubbock's many restaurants. The washer and dryer are also located at the end of the kitchen area.

Step outside and discover the large backyard, perfect for kids to play or for a relaxing afternoon in the Texas sunshine. A patio set invites you to unwind and enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal in the fresh air.

The driveway will fit 2-3 vehicles, with one covered parking space. Street parking is allowed but please make sure you are facing the correct way.

We look forward to hosting you at Retro Roost! We do require an electronic rental agreement to book this property. You must be in good standing to book with us and have positive rental history and reviews. We do not rent to local Lubbock residents.

Early Check-In & Late Check-Out (Subject to Availability) Early check-in and late check-out MAY be available for an additional fee of $20.00 per hour, for up to 2 hours. Early check-in: Payment must be submitted before 12:00 PM on the day of arrival. Late check-out: Payment must be submitted no later than 10:00 PM on the evening before departure.

Parties and events are strictly prohibited at this property. If there is any violation to this policy, a fee of $500 will be charged immediately.

This property is not pet friendly so please plan of leaving your furry friends at home. The owner has severe pet allergies so there will not be any exceptions to this policy and a fee of $250 will be automatically applied if you are caught in violation of this. If you have a service animal, proof of registration is required BEFORE you book.

We supply freshly laundered linens, bedding, and towels for all of our guests. We also supply paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, and hand soap for a short 2-3 day stay. Long-term stays will need to replenish latter items at their own expense.

Although often there will be a variety of condiments, such as coffee, etc., we cannot guarantee what will be available.

Guest Access:
All areas of the house are available to guests with the exception of the locked cleaning closet.

The Neighborhood:
This home is located in Tech Terrace. Close to plenty of shops, food and coffee spots, and a grocery store.

Getting Around:
Lubbock is a large city and has poor public transportation options. It is recommended that you have your own vehicle, although Uber and Lyft are alternative options.

Other Things to Note:
Parties are strictly prohibited and any violation of this rule will result in an immediate $500 fee.

This property is not pet friendly so please plan on making other arrangements for your pets. There will not be any exceptions made to this rule and any violations will be charged an immediate $250 fee. Service animals will be required to show proof of registration BEFORE booking.

Host-Initiated Cancellation Policy
While we make every effort to honor all confirmed reservations, there may be rare instances where cancellation is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

In the event that we must cancel your reservation, the following terms apply:

Full Refund: Guests will receive a 100% refund of any payments made toward the reservation.
No Additional Liability: Our responsibility is limited strictly to the refund of monies paid. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred by the guest as a result of the cancellation, including but not limited to alternative accommodations, transportation, or other travel-related expenses.
Best Efforts to Assist: In the event of a cancellation, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative accommodations within our property network, if available, but we cannot guarantee availability or rates.
Force Majeure Clause: We reserve the right to cancel the reservation due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to property damage, utility failures, natural disasters, or changes in local regulations that affect short-term rentals.
Sale of Property: In the event the property is sold prior to your scheduled stay and the new owner does not wish to honor existing bookings, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. A full refund of any payments made will be issued, but we are not liable for securing alternative accommodations or covering additional expenses.
Removal from Rental Market: We reserve the right to cancel reservations if the property is permanently or temporarily removed from the short-term rental market for any reason. Should this occur, a full refund will be issued, and no further compensation or liability will be assumed.
By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

Check-in information, including the keypad code, will be sent before your check-in date. We reserve the right to decline any alteration request.

House Rules:
- No pets!
- No house parties. Unauthorized parties will result in an immediate $500 fine plus damages.
- No smoking inside the property.
- No excessive volume that would disturb the neighbors.
- Clean up after yourself. This includes all dishes and food items.
- If you break something, message us and let us know immediately.

Interaction with Guests:
Our interaction with guests is very minimal. The front door has a keypad so that you may let yourselves in and out. Please only use the keypad lock to lock the door. Do not lock the bottom lock on the front door. Should you need anything during your stay, please message us and we will be happy to assist.
