Charming Bungalow, A/C, HotTub, Close to Beach

This beautiful bungalow has been remodeled and has many amenities. It is perfect for a family, couple's getaway, or the business traveler that enjoys a home environment. The furniture adds a pleasant warmth in a contemporary beachy style. Light the fireplace, open a bottle of wine, relax in the spa, or watch the world go by while rocking on the front porch. Go on a bike ride, explore all the fantastic shops on retro row, bars, restaurants and many other attractions the area has to offer.

The outside has a hot tub, BBQ, a large cabana, hightop table and seating around the gas-fed fireplace table. The inside features a well-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, large refrigerator, washer/dryer, jacuzzi tub, central air conditioning, fireplace, and more. We provide beach chairs, bikes, umbrellas, towels, sand toys, volleyball, ice chests, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, linens, paper towels, some condiments, spices, baby items (upon request), high-quality reverse osmosis drinking water, every room has cable, DVR, HBO, Netflix, Prime, and PLEX. The home is carbon-neutral and entirely powered by solar so run the A/C guilt-free :) ! The house has a high-speed WiFi connection at (100mbps/100mbps), full alarm system w/ easy to use voice-activated home automation. There is lots of parking for one-three cars.

Long Beach offers a fantastic array of art galleries and museums, cafes and restaurants, unique shops, nightlife, theater, history, boating, and every water activity. There is truly something for everyone here. Come, relax, play, and enjoy a beautiful home away from home.

The entire house is being rented

During your stay, if you need anything, we are always a phone call or text message away. We have a housekeeper and handyman or me personally to respond to anything that comes up during your stay. We thrive on making sure you have a pleasant stay.

The Neighborhood is called Alamitos Beach, just a half-mile to the sand and adjacent to a fantastic area called Fourth Street / Retro Row. The Los Angels Times said, "Long Beach is a city defined by its neighborhoods, and one of the coolest in the area around Fourth Steet and Cherry Avenue dubbed Retro Row. Anchored by the gloriously redone Art Theater, you'll find everything from junk stores to places selling $8,000 Hans Wegner chairs." The area is truly one of the most unique pockets of Long Beach. There are nearly 100 independently owned and operated stores that offer goods, foods, and experiences you won't find anywhere else. Google 4thstreetlongbeach for more info. An 8 min walk will bring you to Bixby Park which has a free work-out equipment course and a farmers market every Tuesday 3-8 and Saturday 9-2. You can walk 5 more minutes past Bixby park to attend one of the daily free Yoga classes on the bluff overlooking the ocean between 11-12. In the summer you can enjoy free movies on the beach at Rosies Dog Beach. June through August Alfredos Beach Club offer free movies on the beach, and Naples has romantic gondola rides, stand up paddleboards, boat rentals, kayaks and more. Downtown and Belmont shore offer even more fabulous shops, restaurants, Aquarium of the Pacific, the Queen Mary, and more. Getting around to other pockets of Long Beach is easy with many options to get around. You can easily walk, ride bikes, rent scooters, bus, Uber/Lift, or drive. There is so much to do within a minimal area that you could easily have a very fulfilled vacation without ever having to drive anywhere. I could go on and on but can't list it all here. Getting around to other pockets of Long Beach is easy with many options to get around. You can easily walk, ride bikes, rent scooters, bus, Uber/Lift, or drive.
TV: Every TV in the house has a FireTV stick. Use AT&T Now for local, network stations and 20 hours of DVR service. HBO, Netflix, Amazon Prime and PLEX is also available. PLEX accesses our own personal collection of movies. Watch 3D movies with the provided passive 3D glasses located in the white box inside the coffee table. PLEX has a vast amount of movies and TV shows available. You definitely won't be lacking in entertainment.

MUSIC: Alexa Music player with music subscription provided in the kitchen and bathroom. While getting ready, you can ask Alexa to play the news, ask about the weather or control the lights.

SMART HOME: This is a smart home and can all be controlled using either old-school switches or voice commands through Alexa.

NO CARBON FOOTPRINT: The home is carbon neutral entirely powered by the sun. Run the A/C to arctic temperatures the SPA is always on ready to go, plug in your electric vehicle all with the peace of mind of knowing the sun is providing that power.
