«We had such an amazing time! It was a spurt of the moment decision to come up as our summer plans to stay had to be canceled. But it was exactly what we needed. So peaceful and we had a daily guest who very politely knocked on the door to be let in to say hello. Sarge was an added delight as we tend to miss our kids and own dog. He was certainly an added surprise. We look forward to staying again hopefully sooner rather than later.»

«Beautifully located on one of the many lakes in the area. Literally on the water! Close access to restaurants, food and gas. Walking distance to the resort for the pool and hot tub. Cabin was exactly the same as the pictures in the listing. Highly recommend!!!»

«We stayed here for 2 nights while we explored the area. The cabin is small, but had just what we needed. It is on the river. The weather was rainy and misquotes were bad, so we didn’t get to explore the property, other than being able to sit on the dock for a few minutes when the rain stopped.»

«We booked this for my husband's 40th birthday. The location was perfect! Beautiful views from the porch. We loved relaxing in the swimspa. It was wonderful on a cold night. We cant wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the river more. Hosts were always available and check in was a breeze»

«My family had a wonderful time at Ron's log cabin. It is very much secluded and relaxing. We brought our 2 dogs and they loved it. We spent time fishing, kayaking, and hanging out on the beautiful porch. It was a great time!»

«Whenever one books a vacation rental, there’s always this nagging doubt that the marketing is maybe ways away from reality. In this case, it was, but as a pleasant surprise. This is a phenomenal property and was extremely comfortable for our party of 15 - 5 families. We had plenty of space, lots of amenities and the view was a million dollar view. «Even though the cabin i stayed in was behind the other 5 lakeside cabins, it was still quite and relaxing. Very simple, yet a touch of technology with the WiFi, which came in handy due to I need to complete payroll for the week. But overall it was a good stay. I would only suggest you bring a fan, there is no A/C.»

«We had the best time in Fence - it reminded us of home with the quietness and friendly people. The property was clean and perfect size for our family of 4. We were lucky to have great weather and so much to do in the surrounding areas. We appreciated the games and snacks. It was nice to catch up with the owners who live next door and get their advice on roads to take etc. We had the best experience at The Fence Post too! Thanks for everything!»

«Great little cabin in the woods and on the lake! We stayed mid-week in October so there were no guests in the main house (which shares a driveway and is nearby). The place is super nice and recently remodeled and was very clean. The only downside was the water pump that is just off the bathroom as it is rather loud and it was unexpected. Once we were aware we just closed the bathroom door to ignore it.»
