«Elizabeth sent me an email before I was checking in making sure i was aware that there would be no one present on site. Keys were left exactly where she said they would be and instructions for breakfast and everything else were easy to understand and locate. The Crossing is suitably located right next to the Kingussie railroad station and is close to the Barracks - one of the sites to see while we were there. Would highly recommend this place.»

«Stayed in the alpine family room which was EXCELLENT - two separated (by doors) areas - one with twin beds, one with a double. Lovely clean, personal hotel and a fantastic breakfast (£13 extra each for fully cooked). The town was a good stop off between Edinburgh and Loch Ness for us, but actually plenty of local sights to see. Check in is by key code but worked well enough. Two floors of steps (no problem for us but if that’s a challenge then be warned). »

«Easy to find and well sign posted. The property was clean and tidy with a nice little welcome pack. The view was stunning, even with misty starts and the little play area was easily supervised from the pods. After complaining immediately to the manager, he booked us into room 2, Mary Queen of Scott’s, a beautiful room facing the loch with breath-taking views. Heated floors in the bathroom, a comfortable king bed and excellent service rounded out our experience. The loud 1970s music blaring during our adequate dinner was unpleasant though.»
