Do not normally write reviews, however I feel it is important to mention our experience.
The property itself was lovely, however communication and transparency regarding additional charges were poor. The listing did not clearly state before booking that there was a large deposit required, alongside separate charges for utilities (gas, electric and water), plus bedding and towel costs. These charges only became apparent after the booking had been made.
The owners initially suggested collecting the deposit in cash at 9pm on arrival, which was not ideal as we were travelling with young children. They then requested a bank transfer on the second day, however we had already left the property after one night due to the extreme heat and lack of fans or air conditioning.
At that stage they were still requesting the deposit, utilities and laundry fees, which made little sense as we had already vacated the property and left the house immaculate. After I queried this, they then changed the request to only utilities and laundry fees, which felt inconsistent and confusing.
There were no instructions on how to use the sauna or where access was to the private beach etc
Overall, the property was nice, but clearer communication and upfront disclosure of all additional costs would have made for a much better experience.
