«The village was lovely with a petrol station and shop opposite that seemed to stock more items than Harrods. It was like an Aladdins Cave. And beautiful walks all around. Hotel was inexpensive but was as good as many I have stayed in at double the price I paid. Very professionally run, and I was impressed and will definitely stop there again.»

«Our stay was truly wonderful from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—rich in history and full of character—and the gardens are simply breathtaking. Being able to walk down to the River Usk and wander for miles through the open fields was such a special experience. «The accommodation had been double booked but they still went above and beyond to find a resolution and we did in fact stay at this lovely property. Our room was immaculate, the bathroom was stunning with the most amazing bath and shower! The food at their restaurant was “to die for”. It just melted in the mouth and service was excellent. We really enjoyed the beer garden and chatting to some of the local people, who met us with warm welcoming smiles. Would definitely stay here again!!»

«Nice location, quiet room, mostly clean, pleased to see there was a fan available. We were disappointed that the pub doesn't serve food on a Monday night. We missed breakfast as had to leave before 8am. Decent place to stay, would go again. A little tight for parking but worked out okay.»
