«The house was very clean, and cozy. The description does however need to be updated. The pool is not a block away, its a 14-15 minute walk or 3 minute drive, the beach, play area and dock are about 3 blocks away. Renters deserve to have the correct information when spending money to go on vacation. It was a great stay. The Beach and dock are wonderful!»

«The master bed was very comfy….with nice view of the water. we enjoyed our stay and Stephen was the greatest! He even let us check out late because of a huge storm going on. The house has lots of games and entertainment even if the weather takes a turn…..we didn’t cook because town was so close— the country cottage was amazing place for breakfast and we went to blue duck for dinner….just burgers and beer…..nice weekend out of the city!!»

«My wife and I visited from the Houston area. The drive to the house was easy. The house and the location are beautiful. Great views of the water, fishing, and nearby hikes. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. We will definitely rent this property again.»

«We had the best time at this home. Not to mention the host was very helpful and communicative from the time we booked until the min we left. We loved the upstairs downstairs set up. Plenty of pillows and blankets for extra comfort. This host left no stone unturned. Best rental we have ever had.»

«The meet our needs and we enjoyed the hound dog. 😊 A few things that would have made our stay better: the ceiling fans in the bedrooms did not work properly and the water did not get hot enough for a decent shower.. Overall it was a good experience.»

«The overall stay was marvelous. The space there was spacious and it allowed us to have a wonderful time to gather together and share our thoughts. When we arrived there on, April 10th, the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and the patio was very clean. Check-in process was a breeze and the property manager remain in constant communication throughout the checking in process. The accuracy as shown in listing photos were almost identical. «We stayed at this wonderful property for my 55th birthday and had a fabulous time! The property was so charming and peaceful. All amenities were as described and we had everything we needed. The property owner was very nice and very responsive to correspondence before and after the trip. The days were spent fishing and hanging out. The nights were beautiful and serene. The State Park is nearby and a must-visit. I will definitely be making an annual visit to this property!»

«The property was beautiful and it was very relaxing overall. The only problem we had was bugs. They were swarming at the front door, dead at the front door and once inside they were on the ceiling. Consequently, my wife and I spent the first couple of hours cleaning up bugs. I found out that they were coming in from the window unit.
