Stayed here with group of girls for my 30th birthday, gutted we had a flight of stairs to walk up but not the worse thing, staff was great, I mean could hear music from outside bars but my ears was ringing so tbh wasn’t a problem! Would definitely recommend perfect location from bars and food places will 17277227% be going back

Very disappointing
I’ve never stayed anywhere where walls or so thin that you can hear next door occupants chatting let alone the music! Also a lot of street noise and no black out curtains so my hubby and I got very little sleep. The dull lighting throughout made me feel that was to hide the decor and not sourly to create atmosphere. The location however was excellent and staff at the desk mostly friendly.

The bathroom was superb, really good jet bath and excellent showers. The bed was comfortable.The hotel is very 'shabby chic' style, and some bits are a bit more shabby but not terrible. The only real negative was the noise from the bars outside.

The place was lovely! Had a good time. However the walls are very thin and I could hear everything all night. Sounded like people next door where moving the furniture round all night/ morning so I barely slept.

Excellent staff and facilities - highly recommend the place…we knew it was vibrant and lively place but the extremely noisy neighbours in the next room were an unwanted addition - if they hadn’t been there it would have been superb

Lovely staff reception always manned very helpful and friendly nothing to much trouble my room was lovely jacuzzi bath plenty of hot water the location is spot on for all tourist spots thank you all staff for making my stay in your hotel lovely and welcoming

A unique hotel in that the room and decor was very dark. A lot of black tile and black fixtures. Very dark kitchen, bathroom with black tile and a black chandelier. Lots of mirrors. Good location for access to bars and restaurants downtown and short walk to the waterfront. Would have been nice if they recommended where to park as we used Q Square Parkade when Victoria would have been better. A bit of street noise at night but to be expected given how close it is to the action downtown. Overall a good value for money.

the staff is so helpful and friendly they're the best. the shower in the bathroom is not in the right place. i would recommend it to stay.

Great for a party, def NOT if you want to sleep
The room was huge and looked beautiful but there were lots of odd things missing, like no bin in the bedroom, just a tiny one in the far corner of the wetroom (which was drenched after taking a shower). This is clearly a party venue so I expected some noise but not the level that we experienced, especially on a Tuesday night. There appears to be no sound proofing at all and the folks in the room next door played music very loudly - with shouting, singing and the rest - literally all night.
