Hoteller i Live Oak Island

«The Ann Stevens House was a short stay. We went to the Daytona 500 about 26 miles away. It was quaint with antiques placed in our 2nd story room. The mattress was rather hard, but not horrible. There was of plenty of parking and the room was very clean. The host is very nice and accommodating. My only negative comment is that the stairs, that looked rather new, were rough cut, unsanded and unfinished. My husband got a pretty large splinter from the banister. »

«Avoid this property!! What a disgrace that Expedia would allow such a run down, dirty property to be advertised. Not only was the place not clean there weren’t any electrical outlets in the room. WHAT??? Desk lamps just had cords hanging. Water on the bathroom floor.»

«TID fee per day was unexpected. Pool is small. Carpeting is old and musty smelling. Parking fee is outrageous. Bed was comfortable and a/c was good. No phones in the rooms to make requests. »

«The first night A/C did not work, room temp was 76 in that room - I was moved to another room where the bathroom ceiling leak over night. It was fixed while I was out. Customer rep in front desks were nice and worked things out. Maintenance tech was effective and responsible. The hotel is aging - that’s undertandable. However they can do better is making sure rooms are ready for stay. The breakfast is the best part. The cooks doing omelets are gracious, friendly, and eggs are well cooked. the ...

«Place looked like a ghetto and the people sraying too is old, outfstex a weird things goung on like an old employee couple that I gueds does maintenance seemed to be bringing stuff from inside to their gray SUV car, the front desk a mess the employees at front desk not even presentable and a group of men that looked like gangsters on premises interacting and talking and walking back and forth weird! The room was clean though! The lock be on door did t feel safe!»

«Room was clean. Location was convenient. Breakfast was ok. I was expecting a "Welcome" bottled water for guest, but I guess I expected too much.»

«This hotel needs a massive renovation! It's old and run down, probably was new about 35-40 years ago. You can move the shower head arm around in the wall, and the tubs are cracked. It took 20 minutes to get luke warm water. On the upside, the staff was wonderful and the free breakfast was great! The bar needs to open new bottles of wine every 5 days or so. »
