Vertshus i Lisburn

«Like staying in a castle! The stone building is around 350 years old. I was prepared for it to be cold in the room with the slate floor but I was perfectly comfortable. However, there were heaters there to use if needed - including a heated towel rack in the bathroom! No breakfast included which suited us since we had an early flight out of Belfast. Everything is provided to make nice cups of tea. This will be our most memorable stay of the 2 weeks on the island. Lots of lovely character! »

«Very welcoming hosts and a clean spacious room. Avril showed us round on arrival. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Great location for exploring County Down and Strangford Lough.»

«Lovely little cottage on a farm with its own chapel for weddings. Very quirky and the owner is an animal lover. Only complaint was a shortage of teaspoons, so not much to complain about. A quiet bolt hole but close enough to .explore Belfast.»

«Reached out days before arrival to get check in information and Had lockbox for key. Bread, pancakes, mini muffins with butter provided. Used notebook left for instructions on check out. Only one bathroom for 9 people in 5 bedrooms. Located 30 minutes driving time to Belfast. Parking on street or at church. Very cute cafe shop located across the streets with delicious fresh homemade donuts. Room were clean.»
