«A phenomenal stay.
Great atmosphere; a truly unique experience with the artwork as well as tongue-in-cheek names for the spaces.
By far our favorite spot during our week-long travels across Missouri. Great location. An amazing house - a historic home in every sense of the word; and the best value of any place we stayed.
Coupled with exceptional places to eat or have a drink within walking distance, and even more within a 2-mile drive, staying at the Big House made Jefferson City our ...

«Check in was easy, the beds were comfortable, and there was good off street parking. It's a fine choice if there are three or fewer people in your group and you don't want to go with a hotel. Some things I wish I had realized ahead of time: There are only three comfortable places to sit in the living room, a loveseat and an armchair. If you have more than three people, the others will have to sit on a backless metal barstool or the floor. The house is cooled by two small window units neither of ...

«It was adequate for what my husband and I needed for a short quiet weekend. The place was clean, the bed was comfortable and Angela was very responsive as a host. She also left us a complimentary bottle of wine, which was very thoughtful! Just a couple of suggestions... you might consider having some complimentary toiletries/shampoo in the bathroom and more streaming capacity on the TV to allow more shows. All in all, though, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much, Angela!»

«We had a great time! The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We appreciated the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash being supplied. The kitchen was well stocked. The patio was very nice. The whole rental and check in process was smooth and effortless. We had a trolley van pick us up and take us back home at the end of the day. We would definitely recommend this property!!»
