«Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all.»

«We absolutely LOVED our stay at 'Loon Cottage.' It was just the two of us, so we were glad to be able to rent a place that didn't have tons of extra bedrooms and space we didn't need. «The house was beautiful, spacious and very well maintained. We had lotsif room, peace and quiet. We were close to seafood restaurants and fish markets. Ate our fill of lobster, scallops, Haddock. Cooked at the house and ate at restaurants. Perfect place to do both.»

«This small home was perfect for the two of us visiting friends on Deer Isle. It had everything we needed, including a Keurig coffee maker and pods. The gravel road and slightly sloping grassy entrance was a bit hard to navigate cleanly on the one really rainy day we were there. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in this charming community.»

«The cabin is beautiful, well equipped, and an easy drive to Belfast. Communication with the property managers was excellent. Belfast is very nice and the walk along the river was just excellent. Aside from groceries we only did window shopping which was abundant. I marked the location three stars as the woods, as you would expect, were very buggy with very many ticks. Not a great spot for dogs. Otherwise very nice and we enjoyed our stay.»

House was well-outfitted and super-comfy, with big windows to enjoy the soothing pond view, even on a rainy day.
