I hate leaving bad reviews so it’s really unfortunate that I feel like I have to do this… I’ve stayed here in the past and everything was fine. The reason I booked this hotel in the first place was for the oceanfront hot tub. Where this hotel failed is that the hot tub was under construction while we were there. That was not mentioned on Expedia (apparently they added it online after we booked) and they did not let us know before we arrived or even after we checked in. When I brought it up to the lady at the desk, she blamed it on “Mother Nature”. I reached out via email requesting some sort of refund or compensation and have not received a response. We would’ve loved to stay there again, but unfortunately, i’m not gonna call the hotel to make sure every amenity is working beforehand. That should’ve been something they let their guests know.

The room we stayed in was clean it had a giant king size bed coffee maker fireplace but the deck had a tarp over it because it was under repair inand the hot tub was closed because the wind blew the fence down and we were unaware of this

The room was very dirty, the dirtiest and lack of maintenance I have ever seen. This property needs serious work. It's a shame because it's a great location but the owners and staff need to reevaluate their choices. They even refused to resolve all our issues and refund our money for one night after we left due to the disgusting room. Would not recommend this property at all.

Fireplace didn't work. Remotes for the tvs were the wrong ones so couldn't work the tvs. Lights above sink in the bathroom didn't work. The view from the balcony was awesome! Staff were courteous and tried to be helpful.

Overall you get what you pay for. This place was considerably cheaper than most other oceanview places. The room was in rough shape. Although they had replaced the locks and the furnishings and tv were fine the door frame showed signs it had been kicked in before and the door hung very crooked with large gaps at the edges. The headboard on the bed was cracked. The room was functional. When we went to put pillows on the bed the sheets had small blood smears along the edge. When I went to the front desk (no phones in the rooms) instead of offering to make my bed they handed me a fresh pair of sheets. When I made it back to our room to make the bed we realized they had given us the wrong size sheets (queen instead of king). When my husband returned the sheets he asked the staff to make the bed before we returned from dinner which they did. Overall quiet and clean just in rough shape. Also I was not notified ahead of time that the hot tub was out of service

The hot tub was out of service through February. I would be surprised if it hasn't been out of commission for a while. It was all sorts of falling apart looking. The room was really good. The view was amazing. The kitchenette doesn't have much by way of dishes and such but enough. The electric stove top was wobbly. The bathtub was in desperate need of refresh. Tiles in the surround look pretty gross and the plug area of the tub is stained and a bit rusty. The soaps and coffee and linens were all very nice. This is a good deal if you don't mind a place that seems to be in progress. I suspect new management is making it as nice as they can while they try to get work done to make it nicer. It is directly by a very long steep stairway down to the beach and then there are miles and miles of beach. The walls are thin and I could hear quite a lot of moving around and such while in the room from other rooms.

The bathtub would not drain after my husbands shower so I did not get to shower before checking out. The toilet made a loud noise after flushing. The manager charged me $400 for smoking in my room. After repeatedly asking for proof of this the manager finally sent me pictures. We did not smoke in the room so the pictures showed nothing. Manager was extremely rude on the phone while I was trying to fight the smoking charges. She refused to give me the name of her boss and proceeded to hang up on me 3 times whenever I would ask how to contact her boss. Over all a terrible experience and do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was ok. We stayed in the oceanfront King with jetted tub. The tub looked way bigger in the picture. They don’t have AC. Only a standing fan. The room wasn’t cleaned well. We have a dirty sock from someone else. Dirt in the doorways, spider webs. The hot tub was down for maintenance for February, but their page didn’t say that. One reason we wanted to go. It’s ok, we might stay again and give them another shot because for two nights it was $235, not bad.

Honestly worst experience that I ever had we had to wait 50 min for check in when on my reservation said I could check in after 4:00pm we did not get check in till 4:50pm due to them not having the room ready then after getting the room key the room was filthy and had a strong odor of burnt cigarettes they’re are false advertising something they can’t provide this hotel needs to be shut down not suitable for anyone to stay motel 6 would probably be better than this

Check in staff were great! Room was not, table was broken, plug ins didnt work well, bathroom heater didnt work and if you are taller the 5' 4" good luck taking a shower, the floor had low or broken spots, the stair way closest to our room was closed for repair, the hot tub was down for maintenance and the ice machine was only at one of two building's (not my building lol), and last but not least if you dont drive a mini cooper or smart car good luck parking.

GREAT views, and easy beach access, if you're up to the steep stairs. This is a very old motel; the parking is VERY limited. we got a ticket for parking overnight in a spot next to the motel. there is a sign, but it wasn't obvious and we did not see it. $25. The young lady at the front desk was "snippy" with my husband when he checked in. She should have warned us about the "no overnight parking". the only parking at 6 PM was street parking a block and 1/2 from the motel. the bed was comfortable, but I can't say the room was clean, lots of dust and the furnace is REALLY OLD, though it did work. the caulking in the bathroom is moldy.

The room wasn't very clean hair in the tub,the shower didnt have much pressure the cold water was spraying from the nosle. The front door you can see day light out we had to put towels infront of the door from the wind and rain.I made a mistake and made 3 reservations and kept 1. They wont redund half or any of it. On the expedia app it said by 11 i would ger my refund I did and they still wont refund 1 charge is 153.00 rhe other 89.00 plus 153.00 that I stayed. The door wouldnt let me in after I unlocked it with the code. I went to the office. She said oh its unlocked. I said well its not letting me. She said im not gonna argue with you about here is a key. So no not a good experience stay. I wont be be back there fr sure

The room was filthy, both windows in our unit were broke. The mirrors were so nasty from toothpaste marks and the bathroom one has big ring marks from something sticky. Also the mini fridge was covered in a sticky red substance. The sand and dust was awful. Like the only thing that gets done is the beds. Also they advertise Hot tube and Pool but didn't disclose or tell us when we were checking in that the Hot Tube was out of service . so we paid for a beach front room that really was the worst experience for room quality. On the side note the office staff were very nice and informative about the things they needed to be for our entry and exit time.

The room was clean. All towels, sheets where white and clean. When we came over Aire in room was little bit unfrech. But it is no big problem. The view of the ocean is very beautiful. The room is warmer. All staff are friendly. Thank you!
