«Andy and Gretel have made the Customs house into an amazing place to stay. We stayed in the Policeman's apartment and on arrival realized right away that we'd made a mistake to book only one night - we should have booked several just for the experience of staying in this house longer! The house is directly across from the harbor inside the breakwater. Port McDonnell is small and quaint and a good base for exploring the Limestone Coast. «We were in a bedroom (within a house) which also had a bathroom and small kitchen attached. Everything was supplied, including small touches like books, games, fresh juice and brownie slices. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hostess was lovely. I would thoroughly recommend this place for a stay »

«What a wonderful place!! So quiet, peaceful and comfortable! Our hosts were lovely and provided breakfast items and plenty of tea and coffee. The comfortable bed gave us good rest for our long days of sightseeing. The WiFi was extremely slow but we were able to bring up maps. It was good to be so close to Penneshaw and groceries and the ferry. Thank you for a memorable holiday experience! We highly recommend The Fig Tree BnB!»
