«Hot tub did not work. The plug was worn so water drained right out. No toilet paper. When asked for bed change as advertise you can receive on request, we was told no. Well yes in morning but was not done, then no when requested a 2nd time. Old beds with a pad put on top. For couples I would not recommend.»

«Staff was kind and hard working. Staff we met were usually doing at least two jobs ie front desk and working breakfast room or front desk and laundry. Staff was very helpful.»

«Nice view of the lake. Easy parking. Staff were nice and the room was good. The bathtub wasn't pristine by any stretch. The property needs an update badly, but I understand that's costly. It was a solid stay for a driving trip in upstate NY on a holiday weekend.»

«Hideaway Bay is truly amazing! So peaceful and relaxing. A perfect weekend getaway! We stayed durning Mother’s Day weekend so it was much slower then I assume it would be in the summer. The staff was incredibly attentive- always make sure we had what we needed. If you pass them outside, they are always checking in with you, which i really appreciated it. «Parking can be a bit of a challenge because of city location, and if you drive to entrance to unload , you have to leave the lot and circle back around to get back to parking lot. It's not really a major issue, but it was a pain in rainy weather. We have stayed there before and were perfectly satisfied; it's much nicer than a couple other local Inns. However, this time around we had a bed that definitely needs replacing!»
