A homey atmosphere, plenty of nature, and yet convenient access to the highway toward Dresden as well as toward the Czech Republic and Saxon Switzerland. Those who want to explore nature will find plenty of hiking trails. A natural, rustic feel—and, if you’d like, the chance to interact with our animals, such as our Buren goats, rabbits, quails, and chickens, who are always happy to welcome visitors, young and old alike. In addition, as befits a good farm, we have lovable dogs—though our guests do not have direct contact with them—as well as farm cats that roam freely on the property. We at the family-run Proft Farm welcome our guests personally upon arrival, show them around our farm, and give them a first look at the vacation rental together—all so we can discuss any questions, requests, or suggestions right on the spot and address or fulfill them as needed. We live together in harmony with the animals on our farm. With a special love for our dogs and other animals, we view our farm as a hobby and a way to unwind alongside our work in the restaurant industry—an experience that provides us with the expertise needed to create a thoroughly satisfying experience for our guests and to fulfill their wishes as quickly and effectively as possible within our means. The Proft family of the Proft Farm and Vacation Rental—PGJyPg—in Biensdorf is a small village near Liebstadt, situated in a peaceful setting with plenty of nature and a focus on animal husbandry and breeding. It’s surrounded by other small villages that invite you to hike and linger, and access to the highway is just a few minutes away. which leads to Dresden for shopping and sightseeing—where you can marvel at the Frauenkirche or the Semper Opera House, among many other attractions. The journey to the Czech Republic is also short, perfect for exploring forests or enjoying the country’s fine cuisine, as well as visiting historic sites like Weesenstein Castle or Königstein Castle, to name just a few. For hot days, there are gravel pits for swimming or public pools. The beautiful Saxon Switzerland also invites you to go hiking—or climbing, if you’re up for it. In addition, you can admire the old town of Pirna with its magnificent buildings and wonderful restaurants featuring classic charm.
