«This is a wonderful place to stay for the weekend. We stayed only one night and if needed we could have stayed long. Next time we are in Philly we will absolutely stay there again. It’s no frills but doesn’t need to be!»

«Beautiful, large room wtih tasteful, thoughtfully-selected furniture and amenities. Location was excellent for visiting the historic landmarks. Media system in room was problematic and did not work over the 5-night visit. Efforts to fix it were unsuccessful.»

There was a leak from the toilet, but since I checked in quite late and didn’t want to go through the inconvenience of changing rooms, the staff was helpful and provided extra towels. I also noticed an additional charge on my card that I should not have received. It did take some time to get resolved, but thankfully, the issue was eventually corrected. «Check in experience poor- didn't get internet password, no explanation about elevator directions, no info about how to order breakfast (found out later from another guest), wrong hours given for bar- would have enjoyed it more & spent more money. «The portal they send you is extensive questioning, It was a lot but I liked that they were careful who they rented to. The spiral staircase is WAY Too easy the bang you head shoulder etc into and should have plastic order covering the metal edges and screws/bolt etc We had a bloody head injuring as a result. «Room was fully prepaid. When check-in they discreetly gave a paper saying there will be noise from construction work without any further options. Woke up in terror with drilling sounds like professional THX cinema experience (full 7.1 surround). Could not even think or talk. The sound was exceeding hazard limits. Overall hotel was old, outdated with nasty carpets and bad lighting. Toilet didn’t flush before contacting maintenance.»
