However with an 1850's home, there are some aspects that may not be what you're used to, especially the bathroom facilities. They were OK, but a renovation in that area would be welcome. «We were 6 adults .. wide range of ages. Each of us was most pleased with the house and gracious amenities. House was lovely, welcoming, sparklingly clean with comfortable beds, good showers, fully stocked kitchen supplies with surprising extras. (Bedrooms were one flight up and a room with a futon and full bath one flight down from main level.) Been in Vrbo, b&b and airb&b places .. Breezewood is set as my gold standard! We’d stay again in a heart beat!»

«We only stayed one night but the home served us well. We hiked and bike, so home's proximity to Jackson River Scenic Trail and Lake Moomaw was very convenient. House was a modest ranch style. Kitchen was well stocked. Water smelled of sulfur, but owners said it had been tested and was deemed potable. Setting of home was rural and pretty, ensuring lovely views from the outside deck and gazebo.»

Great restaurant within walking distance. Short drive to Warm Springs Pools. Hot Springs and the Homestead just down the road. Would definitely stay again.»
