«We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going ...

«Was very impressed with this home. The amenities that was available worked for our stay. We had everything we needed to cook and even grill out. We had two adults and 3 teenage girls and our dog. No one wanted to leave. Very quit, minus the trains. Property was kept up and was shocked to discover two apple trees on the property. We would definitely book again on our next trip. Definitely a home away from home experience.»

«The house was very clean and had almost everything we needed. It was very comfortable for a one night stay! Some things that would be nice to add include a nightstand on both sides of each bed, as applicable, and lamps! (all lighting was overhead and harsh). There were also no checkout instructions; I had to text the host to ask what we needed to do. A printed/laminated copy would be helpful to have in the house. Overall, we would happily stay here again - even more so if the above suggestions ...

«Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!»
