«What an amazing place and helpful friendly people. I was going to go out after arriving and freshening up but it was so lovely I stayed in. The welcome was warm, friendly and informative. The room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The weather was windy and raining in the evening but I slept like a baby without anything disturbing me. And now to the best bit, breakfast. «The hotel is currently being renovated, so the reception is a bit of a make-shift affair in the breakfast room. Toast and hot breakfast the English way cooked at your request, preserves and cereals, milk, yoghurt and apple/orange juice provided on a table. «I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person!
