«The staff were very welcoming and ready to assist. Each room was unique and beautifully furnished. These were cleaned to a very high standard. The food for breakfast was excellent as was the other food available. Nice to have thick pancakes and different options. Also good to see recycling in using reusable glass bottles which were filled every day and could be filled as often as required. Plenty of places close by to eat. Would have been good to have a tv in the room as we struck a very wet ...

«Hotel was well-located, with beach access and near a convenience store. Plenty of food options around too, including Rimba cafe just across the street. Note that the noise from the bar next door is really loud as mentioned by other reviews, but it stopped by 11 and is generally very peaceful after that.»

«Can only recommend a stay at Shankara in Lipah, we had three days there as a family of four, and wish we could stay longer. The villas are new and clean, and the pool area is beautiful and with a great view of the beach! Very friendly and helpful staff (when we could not find a taxi to Ubud, one of the staff took his father’s car and drove us himself..)»

«This was our first time in Bali, and I am so glad that we booked The Griya for our stay. The place is beyond amazing and it was so sad that we have to leave. We stayed there for a full week.
