Bra hotell med god beliggenhet
Hotellet ligger nærme togstasjonen og det er ikke langt å gå til sentrum via en hyggelig gangvei. Hotellet ligger i stille og rolige omgivelser med mange restauranter i nærområde å velge mellom. Som alltid nærme togstasjoner, så finnes det noen "hjemløse" i området, men ikke noe som preger omgivelsene. Hyggelig betjening på hotellet og bra rom. God engelsk frokost! Om man skal besøke Leicester University, så ligger dette hotellet bra til. Det er kun 13 minutter å gå til campus.

Really friendly staff trying very hard in a tired building. Our room was clean but very tired and very stuffy. Breakfast was poor. A shame because the team were all very professional and friendly.

Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet part of Leicester on New Walk. Easy carparking - also only a short walk from the station. Excellent staff and customer service. Friendly and welcoming bar area. Good breakfast. Rooms comfortable and large - good amenities. Shower good. Difficult to fault. First choice always when staying in Leicester

The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are a decent size with a large bathroom area. The hotel is conveniently located near the water. Lots of parkland for walking and near the city centre. Food options are pricey. The only issue we had was a false fire alarm at 3AM. The siren is very very loud, a good thing. Disappointed that the hotel did not offer some sort of compensation, breakfast for free would have made a huge difference. Have had this type of compensation when false alarm has occurred in past. Maybe, i have traveled too much to have experience with alarms.

Excellent location on the pedestrianised New Walk leading into the City Centre (15 mins) and just a 5 minute walk from the station. Superb, comfortable, ensuite room. Friendly, helpful staff. Would not hesitate to book again on any subsequent visit to the area. Thank you!

Hotel staff were great, especially Betty and the breakfast team - outstanding. Area is a little scary, didn’t like it at all; there was an Asian guy in the bar causing trouble one night, seemed to be high on drugs. Staff dealt with him in the end, but I wouldn’t take family or friends to this area.

A lovely stay. Hotel was warm on a cold weekend, comfortable and clean. Good dining options and lovely breakfast. Free parking at the back which was great, in a city centre location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy walk into town and 5 minutes walk to our gig at the De Montford Hall. Would definitely stay again. Excellent value for money.

Nice large room. Good sized bathroom. With bath and shower over. Only grumble i would have is the room was extremely warm. I managed to turn the radiator off after the first nigh amd had that off and the windows open from the 2nd morning until i left. The Room was still warm but manageable

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the 'Space themed' room. The hotel was lovely. Our room was cosy, quiet and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was to hand and the fact that the kids had their own area, which could be shut off with a sliding door was fantastic. Our breakfast was delicious, particularly the yummy sausages. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone thinking of coming to Leicester for a city break or anyone with 'Little budding Astronauts ' who are planning to visit the National Space Centre. The kids room even has a rocket control panel on the wall for the kids (and grown ups to play let's pretend on). The little spot lights in the ceiling, in the shape of a constellation, was a very nice touch to the main room.

An Excellent find. This is our second time at the Belmont and it is our first choice for accommodation in Leicester. The staff are friendly and efficient. The room was excellent and very good value. No complaints!

Had a lovely stay at the Belmont for a weekend break. We stayed in the King Richard suite and it felt like we were staying in a medieval castle! Especially loved the knights sqord and helmet that turned out to be a lamp! Hotel was very conveniently located with lots of eating options available and places to see nearby. Breakfast was very good and served by friendly staff who were always on hand with any requests. The only negative would be that the car park is a little small and so can be difficult to get in and out when busy. Overall it was an excellent stay and would highly recommend

Great hotel. I stay here whenever I go to Leicester. One grumble concerning my recent stay. The bar was closed before 11pm on a Saturday. Come on guys a good city centre hotel has to have a bar available to at least midnight on weekends, surely

A Saturday night stay and the hotel was quiet during the night, so slept well despite it being busy. Looks a bid dated in places but in a good location with the bonus of free parking. Breakfast choices were good. The best thing about this hotel though, is the helpful, friendly staff. Would happily stay again!

Modernised hotel in a lovely old building. Bedroom had been updated but had a little wear with some wall marks, but was very comfortable with everything you need. It is an old building so some noise of heavy footed people, but couldn't hear any other noise from rooms and in a quiet location. Ate at the hotel - great breakfast with a wide range of choice and cooked to order and evening meal well cooked. Staff courteous and professional.

Relaxing hotel
The belmont hotel is in a great location for the city center, train station and university. My mum was made to feel welcomed and was well looked after throughout her stay . The staff were very friendly and helpful and my mum said they where very accommodating. We only had the breakfast and this was very nice and wasnt made to feel rushed even thou it did start to get busy. I would stay there again & so would my mum

Very good, will use again
Very nice hotel in a quiet, but convenient part of Leicester. Very impressed with the staff, and there is plenty of staff which makes a nice change. Breakfast was excellent, friendly efficient service and good food. Will definitely use it again when we stay in Leicester.

A great location for the rugby
The hotel is better on the inside than it looks like from out. The room was excellent, with lots of nice little touches. The reading light and bathroom floor lights are great ideas. The shower was a bit ofca disappointment, though. Convenient location for the rugby, the football, the hospital and the prison! I will probably stay again.
