The room was dated, the shower in the bath was extremely cramped. The a/c was extremely loud even in the off position it was still pumping out air. Breakfast was poor, no service, the cooked breakfast, especially the eggs were non-existent

The staff at Leicester Marriot are always the stars. Everyone we encountered from reception to restaurant and catering and cleaning staff was helpful friendly and welcoming. The room was quiet and comfortable. We always choose to stay here and look forward to our next stay. Thank you all at Leicester Marriot

We only stayed one night, it was nice. Family room was a good size although we found the double bed small as we are used to king size. Ok site parking which is a good size. Gym was good. The bar area which is the part of the main foyer was nice and the atmosphere was quite relaxed we did get there for 8/9pm. Check in was quick and easy as we had paid on Expedia. In the morning breakfast was very nice and I liked the poached eggs ready to go which is a first. My wife really enjoyed the breakfast. Lovely hotel and will definitely stay again if the need arises. It was a Friday night we stayed.

Great atrium. Very good service. Helpful staff. Attractive bar area. Didn't try meals as en route early . Unfortunately the air-conditioning/ heating wasn't working but we were moved swiftly with offer of help .

There was a large wedding party ongoing when I arrived to check-in at c 11pm. Teenagers were running around the lobby and fighting, pulling cushions off chairs and throwing them across the lobby. It took me 30 minutes to get checked in at 11pm! The room was fine, if a little dusty. Breakfast was adequate. Parking is exorbitant for the location.

Please improve your cleanliness
I would usually refrain from leaving a negative review at the risk that it may have been a one off, however I stay regularly at this hotel and this is now the second occasion where standards have been poor. Specifically in relation to the cleanliness of the room. On the first occasion there was a used dirty towel left on the bathroom door and a used contact lens on the bedside table. During this stay the toilet seat was stained with urine and had not been cleaned, there was also small hairs on the toilet seat. The bedsheet had a hole in it the size of a 10pence piece and a sticker left on the under sheet. The service at reception was average at best upon this stay, which usually isn’t the case. Handy location for my work however the cleanliness is off putting.

It was a nice experience staying at the Marriott. We booked 3 people in 2 rooms, and had an extra person on the day and Marriott did not mind adding the 2nd person onto the room. Did not to expect to pay for parking though
