«We were here for a quick one night stay, arrived late so were bummed we did not have more time to enjoy the space. There were only two of us but this would be a really fun and easy place for a family or two to stay. Very convenient, comfortable living spaces, games, TV’s, kitchen, and bathrooms, everything you could need. Charming old house with the quirks we are used to as we also have an old house. Yard looked nice too. Very convenient location and responsive host. Thank you!»

The house is clean and offers plenty of dishes, glassware, cooking necessities (if you are so inclined), games for inside and out... truly everything you need to relax and enjoy the reason for your visit to Lawrence. If I need to travel to Lawrence again, I may even try to plan my travel dates on availability of this home! It's absolutely perfect.»

«This was our second year in a row staying at this place for the Unbound gravel race in Emporia. The bedrooms are spacious and comfy, but the screen porch is our favorite place to hang out. It’s located on a short culdesac close to the lake, so there’s no traffic buzzing by. It was a great base camp for our cycling adventure.»

«We had a several day event at the Topeka Capitol building. The house fit our needs well. It was clean and had good parking for 2 possibly 3 cars in driveway. The beds were comfortable and towels soft.»

«I’ve had a fantastic experience with this property and host. The house was in a safe, quiet neighborhood at the end of the cul-de-sac. We had full use of the home (3 levels) and garage area which was perfect for our bike prep leading up to the Unbound bike race in Emporia. The inside of the home was newly furnished with modern appliances and well thought out. It was very, very clean and comfortable, instantly feeling like home. I wish I could have stayed longer to explore more of the area ...
