«We haven’t stayed at this property in 20 years and decided to give it a shot. Beautiful beach and pool, central location on island with pb courts. Best description is that it is just very tired. At check in, the main wall at front desk likely hasn’t been painted in years with dirt marks across it. Our condo was in b building 3rd floor. Not terrible, basically clean but with peeling wallpaper, couch needed cleaning, crown molding with no caulking. Good for quick weekend away but don’t expect ...

«This was our second visit to Montage Palmetto Bluff and once again it did not disappoint. The hospitality we find here is second to none. Everywhere we went we were greeted with smiling faces. We’d like to give a special shout out to Carmela at the concierge desk who was so incredibly wonderful with our 4 year-old son, Henry. Everything she did and every recommendation she provided enhanced our stay. The natural beauty of this place is beyond compare. We cannot wait to visit again. »

«We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott.»
