«I had a great visit at the Historic Wailuku Inn. The bedroom and bathroom were both spacious, just as pictured, bright and very comfortable. The Inn is meticulously maintained, both inside and out. I spent many nights on the front porch, working or catching up on e-mail, and got to know several of the other guests. "The hotel itself was beautiful, and the location was excellent. Unfortunately, the front desk staff were a major disappointment. At check-in, they didn’t take the time to explain the hotel’s facilities, amenities, or guest privileges. We weren’t given a hotel map or any useful information to help us enjoy our stay. We only found out two days later that hotel guests receive discounts on food and beverages—something that should have been explained during check-in. It’s frustrating to miss out on benefits simply because the staff failed to provide basic information. The property deserves much better service at the front desk."
