«Blue hotel Fagrilundur feels very close to nature and incredibly peaceful. The self check-in process was smooth, and I didn’t really interact with any staff during my stay, but everything was well prepared and very comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and truly feel immersed in nature. The hot tub was a big plus, especially after a long day, and I slept extremely well here. I would definitely love to come back and stay here again.»

«Perfekt sted for å se Geysir og nordlys. Ligger nydelig til. Det trekker veldig opp at frokost og middag var på Geysir Hotell like ved. Dårlig ventilasjon på rommet ogvelsig lytt. Men for tre stjerner og prisen vi betalte er det helt innafor. Totalpakken var bra. Veldig hyggelig betjening og atmosfære. Vi kommer gjerne igjen, rimelig pris»

«The room was spotless, the guesthouse cozy, and the experience awesome. Only thing I’d change, there was a bright florescent light right outside our window, was like sleeping on the sun (in November), even with the blinds closed. Also it was SUPER hot. Had to open the window to make it sleepable. »

«Wonderful cottage with all the kitchen items you need - toaster, oven, stove, coffee maker, kettle, fridge. Comfortable beds and linens, very quiet - out in the country, 20 minute drive to town (Selfoss) for groceries, restaurants, etc. The 2 family dogs are lovely. Communication was good, and no issues at check-in. Not far away from the Golden Circle route. Would highly recommend.»

«We stayed here for one night, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis while sleeping under the open sky. It got cloudy, so we didn’t get the spectacle we were hoping for. However, this didn’t diminish the experience of sleeping among the trees in a cozy, warm bubble. «From the moment we arrived Ragnar welcomed us and was so helpful and friendly. He allowed us to use the outside hot tub even though it turned out they had guests in their house next to the tub. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the hospitality😁. The studio apartment was clean and nice and even though the cook tops were small and we managed to break things in the kitchen(so sorry for that) we managed to cook dinner with one casserole at a time. «This was such an adorable cottage (cozy and inviting)! The bed was very comfortable and I loved that there were blackout curtains. The hot tub was ready when we arrived so we could step right in after a long day. I would definitely recommend staying here, I only wish my stay had been longer.»

«I really liked to stay at Klettar tower. It was modern, clean and cozy. The bathroom was really nice, soap and towels included. The room had a small kitchenette with a fridge and utensils. The area was quiet, with some horses nearby and a cute dog that came for a cuddle once in a while. We met the friendly and helpful owner a couple of times. We rented a car while in Iceland, and sights like Thingvellir, Reykjadalur and the geysir were in a reasonable driving distance. »
