«Terrazzo Torno is a remarkable and secluded getaway off the beaten path in Lake Como. Arriving at the Villa is a grand and private experience. It took some communication to get the taxi driver to the final location. He stopped at the Mandarin Oriental gate though I had told him we were not going there. When we got to the right spot, he was hesitant to drive down the steep switchbacks to reach the villa but I had read another review that said you must insist! «Meravigliosa Villa che domina il lago . Siamo andati a vedere il vicino castello che si trova in mezzo ai boschi ed è stata una bellissima esperienza. Il lago è a breve distanza ed è raggiungibile dal servizio di trasporto a pochi metri da Villa SilvanaPurtroppo abbiamo soggiornato solo un giorno e non abbiamo potuto goderci a pieno la vacanza. «Rented this spot in Ticino and it worked out perfectly. Walking distance to a bakery/coffee shop. Had a great meal at Ristorante Sport. Migros grocery store is right down the street. Small village of 1500 people. Close drive to Lugano and only an hour drive to Malpensa airport. The views of the lake are fantastic.»
