I have stayed at Golden Nugget several times and have been pretty happy before. But after the COVID period the management of the hotel have come up with the brilliant idea that there is no housekeeping before after 4 nights.
At this price level around big exhibitions like CES you should expect a much higher service level when the cost per night is over 200 USD.
After my 4 nights I still hadn’t received any cleaning or changing of towels. When I called housekeeping that night they had the excuse that due to low number of staff they hadn’t had time to do my room!!!
This lack of service is something you could expect if you stay at a motel/hostel, but not a 3 star hotel.
When talking to the regular staff about this they showed a high degree of embarrassment.
I hope the management of the hotel take a look at the lack of service they are providing and not only the amount of dollars they have saved on sacking the lowest paid staff in the running of an hotel.
