«Can’t say enough good things. Staff was super accommodating- Michelle at the front desk is amazing. She helped us organize taxis around town and even asked us upon check in if we needed breakfast early any days because of early morning tours. Breakfast is made fresh for every guest, rooms are clean with great AC. Couldn’t ask for much more on Isabela. »

«Veldig fint og rent rom. Bra med aircondition og god dusj. Praktisk plassering med 20 minutter å gå til fergekaia og få minutter til andre områder i sentrum. Eneste lille minuset på komfort er at det var litt lytt, så var litt bråkete på nattes tid.»

«We loved the staff! I got injured because I rolled my ankle down the street from the hotel and fell on my leg. It was pretty cut up from the gravel. The staff were very attentive and brought me everything I needed. I was very appreciative of the help. The location was close to the beach. «Slightly on the edges of tourist town but only a 10 minute walk to anywhere in town. Aircon could be better, and is only in kitchen/living room, not bedroom, but spacious and nice enough and will obviously depend on your budget range. Kitchen pretty well equipped but as in most Galápagos Islands self catering is a bit tricky due to supermarket supply options, however meals in town can be relatively cheap options, especially menus del día, so overall not much saving to be had by self catering.»

«Amazing! A block to the beautiful beach! Restaurants right out the door! The most delicious and beautiful breakfast on the islands included! Jose is a wonderful host, the personality here matches the beauty of Isabela. So sweet. We even enjoyed just hanging out on the front porch watching Island life. Walk to food markets, and even a local food court nearby (don’t skip the bakery, Panaderia). We didn’t want to leave Isabela or Jose’s, La Gran Tortuga!»

He is passionate about what he does, and it shows. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and well-located — but it’s Gian Carlos who truly makes Hotel La Laguna unforgettable. The breakfast is also super and the chef prepares personalized dishes to your pleasing. They also serve local products produced at local farms on the island. We can definitely recommend staying in La Laguna if you plan to visit Isabela. "
