«Our room was fastidiously clean and kept tidy. Staff was amazing and made sure all our needs were met, and went out of their way to make us welcome. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The service during meals was just outstanding--we did not have to wait between courses or for our glasses to be refilled as staff kept a close eye. «Colca lodge is a very special place, in the middle of nowhere , no tv in the rooms, and nearly no Internet even in the lobby. You go there to relax, relax and relax. Fantastic hot springs, great spa, unforgettable view. Food is ok, but not 4 stars European level. It is located 1 h30 mn on a tough track from the condor flight attraction, can be done in a morning then you can enjoy the hot springs or the spa in the afternoon. Best hotel we stayed in Peru by far!»
