Vertshus i Langwathby

«Staff very welcoming. Food really nice and very filling. Perfect stay for us. Thankyou»

«We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wish we could have stayed longer. The food was very good, the room was large and clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.»

«Great parking. We didn’t realise when we booked that the pub would shut at 8 pm on the Sunday which was disappointing but they gave us a key to enter the building and to come and go as we wanted. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.»

«The Inn itself is lovely and great location, however there was no heating or hot water, and we checked in after getting caught in the rain on a long walk on a cold day so were really looking forward to a hot shower! There was no communication from staff about this, and no apology in the morning. Unfortunately this ruined what I’m sure would have otherwise been a lovely stay.»

«The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular ...

«Hyggelig hotell/pub/restaurant med rolig beliggenhet. Kompakt resepsjon. Noen lave bjelker, og trange ganger. Greie rom med middels komfort. OK bad. Meget bra frokost. Bra parkeringsplass. God service i pub og restaurant, god mat og bra utvalg. Dårlig wifi, og ingen dekning på mobilnett.»

«Room wasn't great for the cost (was pretty small, but is limited because of the type of building), however the bathroom looked like it had recently been refurbished, and the room was clean. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful.»

«A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities»

«Vi bodde her i to netter og hadde et veldig hyggelig opphold. Hotellet ligger helt perfekt til, midt i Keswick, med kort vei til alt. Rommet var rent og komfortabelt, og aircondition var et stort pluss under de varme julinettene. Frokosten var veldig god, og den tilhørende puben hadde en hyggelig atmosfære. Personalet var vennlige og imøtekommende. Et flott sted å bo hvis du skal oppleve Keswick og Lake District. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.»

«Quiet. Clean. Very friendly and helpful staff.»
