«Having been to Glenridding many many times, this is the first I’ve stayed at Fairlight Guesthouse. It won’t be the last! It was a lovely place to stay; great bedroom, comfy bed, powerful shower, onsite parking, lovely staff and good breakfast. »

«It's the staff that make this hotel stand out , closely followed by the food ,which was apparent during breakfast no short cuts on quality, using local suppliers.
The biggest surprise was the Saturday nights entertainment with a local group playing all the classics.
Rooms in keeping with the traditional vibe that goes with the rest of the hotel. »

«From the first welcome to the final farewell, it was a joy to stay there. Substantive breakfasts, pet friendly, old manor house setting with great views. Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north.»

«It was refreshing to stay somewhere with such individuality rather than the usual chain hotels.
Beautifully furnished throughout, with fabulous attention to detail, so much to look at.
Breakfast was excellent, a good range of continental and cooked choices, with local ingredients.
Slightly outside the village, they provided a chauffeur service to and from any of the restaurants in the evening in their electric Mercedes minibus. Plenty of car parking, with five EV charging points. We had a ...
