- The resort is most easily accessed by taking the shuttle boats from the Malecon. Most people that rent a car choose to leave it parked near the Paraiso office on the Malecon and take the shuttle boats to the resort. You can also drive from La Paz to the Paraiso resort, but it is a long drive (40 minutes or so) on a dirt road. It’s much easier to park your car and take the short boat ride.
