«This was our first time staying in a place that provided most of what we needed. You can tell that Emily thought about everything that a family would need when being on vacation. We had plenty of towels/washcloths, there was liquid soap & shampoo in the shower. The kitchen had everything in it ☺️ food was the only thing we had to purchase. The laundry room was well stocked. «Our stay at the Shore Cottage was everything we could have wanted and more. The home is beautifully appointed and impeccably maintained. Everything was fresh and clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the amenities of the gazebo overlooking the water and our boys spent endless hours playing in the sand and water. Just a short car trip to restaurants and attractions, very manageable. The hostess, Marilyn, is very sweet and extremely helpful and accomodating. Can't beat coffee in the gazebo ...

«Just like thay stated. A dual family under renovation. If you want shiny granite and huge bathrooms you won't be happy. Larger than expected. Highly recommend this place if coming to visit family at Norfork Naval Base. Close to the base, beautiful beach. Kitchen is workable. Wish they had a few more drinking glasses and a can opener but stores were very close by and we were able to pick some up.»
