«My husband and I stayed here for our baby moon, and it was perfect! We used daufuskie life for our shuttle to and from the house, and Lowcountry ferry for our shuttle to island from Hilton head. Both transportation’s were great and referred by host! We got to the island a little bit earlier than our reservation, but the host was more than welcome to accommodate us, and great with communication. «Great proximity to the beach! Seemed like a very quiet neighborhood but we came in the middle of September so I don’t know about the rest of the year. When they say 3 minute walk to the beach that is very much true! We were able to take our little wagon with us to the beach…literally you cross a parking lot to a little path through the dunes and you’re on the beach! Cottage is older but has that “comfortable beach charm” Very clean as well. »
