2nd time stayed over this hotel. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, good size room and very clean, and comfortable bedding. Will definitely stay again if coming to Kyoto in the future.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel is located just east of Kyoto station. It was a 2 min walk. So convenient.

这是我住过信价比最高的旅馆，离火车站，汽车站都很近，去那儿都十分方便，但又是闹中取静。周边歺馆，商场林立。旅馆提供自助早歺，丰富极了，还有日本特色歺点。前台服务员个个热情，有到家的感觉。房间宽敞，整洁。

優點： 位置優越，行5分鐘到京都車站&巴士站、附近主要境點可以乘巴士去遊覽。 早餐豐富多選擇，用膳環境好。 職員有禮貌。 隔日執房，但每日會執走垃圾&換毛巾。 缺點： 房間非常細，不能打開2個行李喼； 洗手盆在廁所外，使用不方便； 舖床那塊藍色布，有白色污漬，很嘔心，我已拿到櫃內放置，隔日執房依然蓋回床上，很奇怪！ 下次會嘗試另外的酒店。

Hotel was very nice. Checkin tried to upsell room but no big deal. I heard them trying to upsell others too. Room was plenty big enough.Hotel is located close to main station in Kyoto so much so that I worried about noise but it was quiet. Room had real Noritake teacups and saucers- nice touch.

Best of the best Hotel I’ve ever stayed in!!! This trip was my honeymoon, and the hotel congratulated me by providing a special welcome card and room upgrade. I was very impressed, and if I visit Kyoto again, I will of course stay at the Kyoto Century Hotel.

Being right next to the Kyoto train station is great both for Kyoto sightseeing etc and also quick access to Osaka. Beware, you will need a filing cabinet at check in as the hotel handed us 15 pieces of paper for breakfast coupons etc. Interestingly three of them were “soft drink coupons” but that’s not really much of a perk for being an Expedia VIP and soft drinks being free at breakfast and not spending much time at the hotel other than breakfast (nice buffet) or sleeping.

Once you figured out how to get the hotel from the Kyoto station, everything gets convenient:) The room is small for two people with two carry on luggage, not matching the beds, which are quite comfortable and cozy though.

Great staff, breakfast and location. Room dated.
The breakfast was excellent, wide range of Japanese and Western items - which was also welcome for a vegetarian.. The staff were always helpful and professional too, taking bags before checkin and after checkout. In the breakfast buffet / restaurant they were welcoming and really organised. The location is fantastic, because you will be right next to Kyoto station - convenient for sightseeing, and any trips further afield Also, despite our room facing train tracks it was so quiet. The only reason for not giving the hotel 5/5 was the cleanliness and decor in the room. Upon arrival we noticed marks on bathroom attachments, and I found an earbud and nail clipping! The staff cleaned and replaced everything quickly. But, likely in room carpet needs a deep clean or replacing. The lobby and corridors are very clean and expansive, so bedrooms should have the same level of care and attention.
