We liked everything about this hotel, the people working there is amazing and very helpful. The only thing I did not like was that when I went to the fitness room they had an additional fee to enter the gym. I’ve never experienced this before when you are a guest at a hotel. And the gums being not that good as well I think that’s to much. And the pillows wasn’t that great either.

The hotel is perfectly situated in Kyoto Station. Easy to get to and the hub for everything. The hotel has an old eprld Japanese charm to it. This is my second stay because we like it thst much.

両親の結婚50年のお祝いで、クラブラウンジ対象のグランヴィアデラックスツインに宿泊しました。 スタッフの皆さんのお心遣いには感動しました。 とても居心地が良い2泊でした。 クラブラウンジも最高で、朝食もゆったりいただき、アフタヌーンティーではスィーツを堪能、夕飯はカクテルアワーで美味しいお料理と種類もジャンルも豊富なお酒で、心もいっぱいでした^_^ 施設は古いのか、夜中に隣の喧嘩する声が聞こえてきたり、ウォッシュレットのリモコンが壊れていたのは少し気にになりました。

It was incredibly inconvenient that the gym was not open at 6 am. This is a normal time for exercise during a business trip where meetings start at 8 or earlier. Can you really claim to have a gym as an amenity if it is not open at a convenient time? No. Waste of money to stay at a hotel with extra amenities if they don’t open till 7 am. I have never stayed at a hotel that claimed to have a gym but that I was unable to use due to restricted hours of operation. Unacceptable in my opinion I would never recommend this hotel due to this inconvenience.

Ideal location in Kyoto. Connected to the Kyoto train station. Tours start from across the street. Price is very economical. Service is exemplary. Many restaurants in the hotel and within a short walk. Shopping stores, and mall called Isetan are connected to the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Strongly recommended.

Great location but will request room closer to the elevator as we always seem to be assigned the last room at the end of the hall, which is quite a distance to walk with suitcases. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay.

Expedia and the hotel granvia set this up to be a scam After booking with Expedia I received notification that Expedia now joined with hotels.com I later upgraded my room through hotels.com and received frequent reminders about my trip and my room - one room Upon checking in, hotel granvia charged me for a room booked through Expedia and hotels.com that is they charged me twice!! I couldn’t get in touch with Expedia the hotel was totally unhelpful and hotels.com informed me the problem was with Expedia and hotel granvia There are many nicer quieter cleaner hotels in Tokyo Avoid scammers don’t stay there

We made a booking which was for the wrong date. We contacted take them immediately within (5 minutes) but in they did not respond until after the stay and billed us. In addition, it was for a smoking room, which we did not ask for. I do not recommend this hotel.

Hotel is hard to find if you arrive by train, even though it is in the station building. Not enough direction signs in the station. Elevator buttons for "Front" and for the mezzanine passageway to JR lines are dark, and they are set way down low so you can't read them. When elevator is crowded, it's impossible to bend over or squat down so that you can see which button is which. Plus which the labels are written in teeny tiny print! On the M3 level, there's a sign next to the south elevator saying to use this elevator to get to the "front". However, there's no indication of whether to go up or to go down. There's actually an arrow that points in BOTH directions! How is a person supposed to know which way to go???!!!! I decided to try UP, but of course I actually needed to go DOWN! It was so frustrating after I had just been traveling for 24 hours continuously.
