I loved it here
First you take the boat to Railay beach because it´s the only way to get there. There is a hill to climb and a luggage lift that can be used to get your stuff up there if you ask the reception. You´ll need to have average health/fitness if you want to climb up and down to this place (no weak knees or back issues). If you´re of poor health, try something much closer to the beach. Some noise at night from the boat traffic. This place is amazing. I loved the huts/bungalows that you´re staying in. It´s a nice place and the view was alright from my hut (nr 203). It´s basic but it´s all you´ll need. The breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. If you´re of the adventurer type you´ll like it there. Perfect for backpackers and there is a relaxed attitude to this place. I just wish the bathroom didn´t have such a strong scent of cleaner, otherwise it was perfect for me. There was a safe in the room and you can also leave bigger stuff like laptops in the lockers at the reception, just mind the reception opening and closing hours. Many great places for excellent photos in the nearby area. If you´re lucky you´ll see some monkeys, which was very nice. Keep in mind that everything is pretty expensive on Railay, like food and drinks. Luckily this hotel provides you with two bottles of water and they have a clean pure water at the reception so you can keep refilling your bottles for free. This is an excellent service provided and you´ll be thankful for it.

Railay Garden View Resort is eco-friendly, which was fine with us. There's no hot water, fridge or A/C, but they weren't missed. Bottles of water are supplied, and you can refill them anytime at reception. Situated on the eastern side of the bay at the edge of 'town', it was quiet and convenient. Navigating the 96 steps to our bungalow was a workout, but you're rewarded with exceptional views. Since we were there in the low season, only tea & toast was available via self-serve for breakfast. This was a sufficient start for the 2 of us, then we'd get a snack at one of the many cafes below. We enjoyed the simplicity of our stay here and would certainly return.

Das Hotel liegt am ruhigen Teil der Halbinsel. Restaurants und Bars sind fußläufig und schnell zu erreichen, die Strände nach ca 10-15 Minuten. Die Bungalows haben je nach Kategorie einen wunderbaren Meerblick oder auf die begrünte Anlage. Wir haben uns super erholt und würden es jederzeit wieder für einen Aufenthalt wählen. Wer keinen großen Luxus benötigt und eine authentische Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig!

Taste of paradise
What a beautiful place! It was easy to walk to from the boat. The stairs are a good mini-workout, and the view is stunning. The first evening we were there a group of monkeys scampered across our roof and up onto the bungalow next door where they posed for pictures before disappearing. One tip: bring earplugs for the boat engines. Shower was great, bed was comfortable, and our favourite thing was to sit on the front patio soaking up the view. We were also surprised to get breakfast included with our stay. Highly recommend.

This hotel is excellent value for money. The views are spectacular and we loved the hike up the hill to our little house. Breakfast was very good and had a lot choices for hot food.

This was a very nice and private resort. There were party areas of the island within walking distance, but this resort is close to that yet also far enough away that it is quiet. Our rooms were clean and we had a couple lizards visit us in the bathroom...they were more scared of us than us of them. A fresh warm breakfast is served daily, which is convenient as well.

No frills, but clean
It was ok if you don’t mind the basics and no air conditioning. The many flights of stairs to get to the location is pretty crazy, so just be aware of that (it’s a good workout).

Sehr gute Unterkunft
Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Die Zimmer mit Seaview sind fantastisch. Wasser steht jederzeit zur Verfügung und das Frühstück war mehr als ausreichend, man kann aus 5 Gerichten auswählen, zudem steht ein kleines Buffet bereit.

Loved that this was eco friendly. The huts were basic but great fun and we had a fabulous sea view. Some nights were noisy due to the long boats but it depends on it being a high tide. Not far to walk to all the beaches and the night life. Lots of steps so you need to be fit. Breakfast was very good and plenty to choose from. Shower was cold but the weather was so hot it didn’t matter at all. We would highly recommend and definitely come back again.

Loved it!
Amazing place! Right up on the mountain so prepare to walk up lots of stairs however still is a lovely place. The hut was very nice. Great views! You have to travel by boat to railey so make sure get there early in the day to travel across.

Nice bungalow with beautiful view. Bungalow is located on the hill and there is a lot of stairs to get there. Breakfest is very good, you can choose omlette, scramble eggs, pancakes. There is a free water available during all day. The only minus are longboats. They are really laud and it is impossible to really rest.

Beautiful views and amazing stay
Amazing stay at Railay Beach in this bungalow, in a jungle area overlooking the sea - beautiful views!!!! We stayed here for 4 nights in total, no air con but there was a fab and they had a mosquito net and meshed windows to keep the bugs out. Beautiful place with small breakfast included. Bed was a little hard and shower was cold and the room didn’t get cleaned or towels replaced etc unless you asked - but this didn’t bother us at all as the bungalow location and views were stunning! Would 100% visit again

Wonderful view
The hotel is located on a hill and you have to climb a bit until you have reached the rooms. The view over the bay is stunning. The staff is helpful and can be friendly and sometimes moody. The breakfast was one of the best in Thailand (thai standard) again with stunning view. The room was nice but the bathroom was really smelly. We would definitely cone again.

Worth the view
This place is amazing! When I read reviews I kinda laughed at those who said it was a bit of a hike... it definitely kicked my butt with the heat and my heavy backpack, but once you reach your room it is all worth it! And it's easy when you're not carrying a heavy suitcase. We absolutely loved our stay here. Only regret was not staying longer. The view is beautiful!

O staff do hotel trata o hóspede muito bem!O café da manhã é ótimo e vc ainda pode escolher para ser feito na hora entre panquecas,omeletes ou ovos fritos ou cozidos.A localização é um pouco distante do pier...mas é perto do Last bar,onde tem luta de muay thai.

Nice huts in forest
These were nice huts In the forest. With amazing breakfast with chunky Thai pancakes with fruit inside either banana or pineapple. The rooms only have fans so was a little bit hot without air conditioning. Friendly staff and clean place.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön und die Aussicht war insbesondere von den obersten Bungalows sehr gut. Etwas ab vom Schuss und etwas angewohnt. Frühstück für den Preis sehr gut. Das Badezimmer war bissl grindig.

Le bungalow tout en bois avec balcon était tres agréable, très grand lit et vue magnifique,mais qui se mérite: une centaine de marches pour y arriver(surtout quand on debarque avec ses bagages...), sanitaires corects mais pas d'eau chaude. Petit dejeuner tres agréable aussi sur la terrasse, dommage d'entendre toujours les bateaux, mais a Railey aucune plage n'est épargnée...

Enkelt boende i djungeln
Lugnt boende lite väl långt från ”centrum” kanske. Bungalowen var fräsch och mysig men man hörde allt runt i kring. Båtar, djur, röster, öronproppar ett tips! Frukost okej men rätt mycket myror... Endast kallvatten i duschen och ganska lång trappa upp till boendet. Duger några dagar om man inte är allt för bekväm.
